FAQ
π± Why are our products plant-based and gluten-free?
Our products are plant-based because we wanted better plant-based protein! We set out to create products that stand the comparison against animal-based protein on taste, price, and nutrition. By using a mix of protein sources, we ensure our products have all the essential amino acids.
Our cookies are made with faba bean, potato, pea, and hemp protein. The plant-based ingredients also make the cookies high in minerals such as magnesium.
Our protein powders (chocolate and vanilla) are made with faba bean and potato protein. They blend smoothly with water and taste great β without the sharp aftertaste you usually get from pea protein products.
Our products are also gluten-free β we use gluten-free oats as the base grain in our cookies.

𧬠What are essential amino acids?
Essential amino acids are amino acids that the body can't produce on its own β so they have to come from food.
Amino acids are the building blocks of protein, and they support things like muscle maintenance, recovery, and normal body function. Getting enough protein helps make sure you're also getting these essential amino acids.
Below is an example breakdown of the amino acid composition in our chocolate cookie. We use the same ingredients across all cookie flavors, so the composition is roughly the same regardless of flavor.
